LOT Wins Business Traveler Award

London / Reudelsterz – Readers of the “Business Traveler” magazine have chosen LOT Polish Airlines as the best air carrier in Central and Eastern Europe. “I am glad that our passengers notice and value the changes going on in LOT”, remarked Marcin Piróg, LOT CEO during a press briefi ng in Warsaw on Thursday. The Polish carrier has received the award for fifteenth time, starting in 1998.

The award ceremony took place in the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London. The carrier's CEO was present. Best airlines are chosen by the readers of the prestigious British magazine in a vote.

According to Piróg, the airline owes the award not only to improvements in the on-board service, but also to the development of the Warsaw hub. They include shorter connecting times, more self check-in stands and shorter waiting times at the luggage carousels. “Punctuality and regularity indicators of the LOT's aircraft which remain on the highest level are the best proofs of the high quality of our services”, added Piróg.
